This Privacy Policy explains how information about you is collected, used, and disclosed by the website https://gtaua.org (“Wesbite”) of the Public Association “GovTech Alliance of Ukraine”, (“GTA UA” or “we”). This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect when you use our Website and online services (collectively, the “Services”) or when you otherwise interact with us.

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you a notification). We encourage you to review the Privacy Policy whenever you access the Services or otherwise interact with us to stay informed about our information practices and the ways you can help protect your privacy.

Collection of Information

We process personal data only with the consent of the data subject or in other cases provided for by law. For example, we may collect information when you participate in interactive features of the Website, fill out a form, or communicate with us.

We engage other companies to provide analytics services via the Services. This information may be used by the GTA UA and others to, among other things, analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, and better understand how our services are being used.

Once We receive your information, We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No data transmissions over the Internet, cell-phone connections or Wi-Fi can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Site. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk, while safety and security of your information also depends on you. 

Transfer of Information to the U.S. and Other Countries

GTA UA is based in Ukraine and the information we collect is governed by Ukrainian law. By accessing or using the Services or otherwise providing information to us, you consent to the processing, transfer, and storage of information in and to Ukraine and other countries, where you may not have the same rights and protections as you do under local law.

GDPR

GTA UA is GDPR compliant. We are not in the business of selling data to any 3rd party. We don’t store credit card information on our servers. We don’t store any passwords. Since our entire code base is open source, anyone can easily audit it.

Your Rights (under GDPR and Ukrainian Law)

You have the right to access your personal data, request rectification, deletion, or restriction of processing, withdrawal of consent, and object to processing. Promotional Communications
